you can get the slats from NR auto. i got my steel rear fender vents and slats and box rockers from them.

He has to, the holes for the slats are already drilled in the vents

I think there were at least four different after-market slantnose kits each with slightly different sized brake cooling vents. First check and see if your vent slats are metal (factory) or fiberglass. If fiberglass, I would trace the outline of one of them and fax it to some place like Better Bodies Motorsport who could identify which kit you have. It can be kind of a pain sourcing one of the after-market parts since most of them haven't been made for several years.

my kit had instructions for making them fit. you have to put wax paper over the curved section of the vent where the fins touch. then test fit them to make sure no material needs removed from the fins. then you put a thick coat of body filler on the part that touches the vent and screw it down. after the filler sets then you remove the slat, and clean it up and paint it and the curves will match perfectly.
