Slantnose Project

Some pics of my beloved slantnose project. Just got most of the parts back from paint!! Can't wait to assemble!! Full steel body. Does anyone know where to get the vent slates that go in the rear fenders? I need one.

Maybe check 930s.com for the vent slates. Send an email to the guy...

The motors are mazda rx7 generation one units. The pivoting fixture I believe are custom by who ever manufactured these steel fenders back in the day.

Where in CT are you? That pic on the flatbed w/ the Berlin turnpike sign brings back memories. I'm from Meriden...rt. 5, 15, 91 and the turnpike are all right there! Nice pics. Car looks like its coming along nicely!

Is it just me or are your rear wheels hanging about an inch outside the guards?

Regardless the car looks super cool :-)

Yes rims are out past the well. If you notice in the other pictures the C2 turbo rims were on the car. They are much narrower. I need to have new custom spacers made up to accommodate the OZ Mito 18x11 rears.
