Anyone hear about a solution to failed brake light switches?
Hi guys, guess what, my brake lights failed again. 4th set in 5 years.
I heard that someone out there had figured out that the problem was too much current going through the things, causing some arcing which led to to the junction carboning up/failing. Solution apparently was some sort of relay....any one know anything about it or any other solution? Dennis

here too. Yup a relay and some other components built into it. Installation is fairly simple.
