2 hours and 6 new injectors!

I took possession of my 82 SC several weeks ago and shortly thereafter took it to a local shop to get some advice. They drove it and told me that it wasn't running on all 6 and that it was probably the injectors. He suggested they send them out to get cleaned at a cost of $200/injector. I was a little shocked. Upon some investigation I found a source for new injectors at $33.00 each. Wondered why I would spend $200 to get the old ones cleaned when I could get new ones for so cheap. Anyways, I ordered them last week and received them yesterday. Took a total of about 2 hours to pull the old ones and install the new. Seems to run much better now. This is the first real service I have done by myself on a 911 and have to say the sense of accomplishment is amazing!

My P-car mechanic here cleaned 5 injectors and replaced one for $175 including labor. They are one of the top-rated P-car mechanics in CO.

Hope you don't plan on going back to the guy who wanted $200 per injector.

Great people and for me living in Canada and even better deal is they use UPS WorldEase shipping which includes all duty and brokerage fees. No surprises at the door. I paid about $35 to get $1000 in parts shipped to me.
