curious
My window sticker says my car came with frount and rear spoilers in 1977 but i have never seen a total rubber spoiler is this stock porsche ??? thanks

Which spoiler is all rubber, front or rear?
Post a picture and we could tell if it's factory or not.

I believe Porsche did have a full rubber rear spoiler that looked like the 76-77 Turbo and 74-76 Carrera 3.0 tail. These bolted to the engine lid as opposed to the other two styles being part of the engine lid.
Not many people want them and I have seen a few for sale on various sites. Not sure about actual years the early Carrera 3.0 tail was offered. I am sure someone with a greater knowledge base will chime in. Gregg S.

I just checked my 911 authenticity series book and it does show a rubber rear spoiler as optional for all non Turbo 911's an even the 912E from 1975 -1980.
Here is a scan of the spoiler in question.  I am guessing this is yours. Gregg S.

Rubber Tail
I had a gold 77S that had the solid rubber tail, wasnt pretty but it was factory

That all rubber one has to be the single worst spoiler ever put on a production porsche.
Not only is it horrible to look at, it weighs like 800 lbs. |

My '80 SC has one. When I finally decide to repaint, I will replace it with a Whale tail.
