You guys that fitted a 993 bumper / fenders to an earlier car, did you also use this front seal strip holder thing?

Is the 993 hood the same as the older impact bumper hoods when you fit a 993 bumper?

I really hate to revive an old post but I desperately need to find these fenders. I have them on my 74 Coupe but the front right was damaged in an accident. I can not find them anywhere.
