Does it crank?

How did you test for spark?

Check relays first. The fuel pump realy is in the front trunk. Swap it with the horn or window relay and see if it starts.

Are the points adjusted correctly? I like to start with the easiest things first.

Here's some troubleshooting tips on a 77 - including the telegraph test for your CDI:

Check your wiring, especially to the CDI. Mine did this a few weeks ago and a wire had worked itself loose...no warning.

I agree with Walter. I had the same problem one day. Car just stopped, would crank but no spark.
Points had closed.
Check that first. It is free.
