I know I could make the exhaust portion as a kit though I really need a car in person with the setup to do it right though we could do slip joints with clamps. the 2 out would have to be custom as the tail pipes angle downward this could not happen for this setup. interesting

I've always loved the look of the 2 out, but not at the expense of carrying on a conversation in the car with my wife without shouting. So before I get too worked up, I have to remind myself that there's a trade off between the sound and looks.

Right now I have one of Ben's 1 in, 1 out and it's perfect... Am I right Ben, there's no way you can have the same noise level with the 1 in and 2 out as my M&K 1 in and 1 out in this through the bumper configuration?

It really is not that loud. It may be that cat that is helping here or the fact that it is a single in but whatever it is, it is not as loud as the 2 in 2 outs I have heard. It is exactly the way I like it, quiet when the windows are up, but a nice performance sound when the windows are down. I am pretty busy the next couple of days but I will try and get a sound clip/video up this weekend.

I hope somebody has you do one. The more I live with it the more I love it.

Man, your bumper is ripe for the Carrera GT style outlets. It would look really great on a shaved car.

The quick easy fix for that is a plug. I have Ben's 2in 2out and with both pipes open it is too loud for an enjoyable cruise. Most of the time I have a plug in the second pipe and it quiets it down so that it is civil. In 30 seconds I can pull the plug out and it sounds great on the track or car show. I painted the inside of my plug flat black with BBQ grill paint so it is nearly invisible when installed.

I suspect you could fab up a plug for one pipe of this system if it was too loud. Or how about one of those electric/pneumatic systems that some newer cars are using to open valves in exhaust systems?

I would so do it if I was in Ben's neck of the woods.

Yea, I'll be at Cars N Coffee in Lafayette, then possibly on to Dart. Willie says we should be there by 8 to get a spot.
See you there.
Chad
