what type
look at my rsa conversion to 911 r. tbc supercharged engine, 993 rsr gearbox, leight weight bolt on kit. on a curvy race track or hill climb the new cars will have a problem to catch you, or better is pressing.....more fun. you have all the advantage of newer technic and cup upgrades. you don´t have that boring, plump 964 desgin. you have that classic, elegant, light
design of the early cars. have fun peter

The good point to 400+ rwhp in a 2500 lbs car is lots of rubber, which the 930 can give you. All in all, over a 911 of same vintage, chose the 930, many more items here that translate into a better braking, handling and tossable car.
I got mine down to a low weight, and the 930 responds VERY well to losing weight, its as tossable as any lightweight early chassis while so sure footed its scary.

+1 for the 930
Put this in perspective: 400 hp in a naturally aspirated 3.2 liter 6 cylinder engine with reliability? Look at the modern cars on the market and see what kind of engine is typically in the 400 hp range even with today's advanced electronics. Usually forced induction or a lot more displacement, and having water cooling for thermal management. -dan --------------------------------------------------------------------------- '87 black/black sunroof coupe, f/r spoilers, 3.2, G50, SW 93 oct chip, Fabspeed euro premuffler, Dansk 1-in-2-out, euro ride ht, bump steer kit, bumperette removal, cdr220, etc. Last edited by dw1; 01-17-2011 at 09:39 AM.. |
