Now we need a shot of the calender in the corner..

Nice setup.

I need to work on getting my bench set up and storage solutions for all the accumulated junk that has made its way into rubbermaid containers.

lift is located on an 10 mm rubber pad on top of concrete floor.
the garage have Water underfloor heating so it is not possible to
put it in the floor or attache it on top.
the rubber pad is there to provent it from sliding around

And speaking of Google translate, here's a French magazine's article on my garage and Porsche that's out this month.

My apologies for cluttering this thread with the press on my garage, but 1) where else on earth could I possibly post this stuff, and 2) how weird is it that there is still press interest in my two-car garage?

At least the headline's in English.

Here it is close enough to see that... I still can't read it:

well jack...as u know u did a wicked awesome job on your shop...to me why it is so awesome is that it is THE most uncluttered = EASIEST on the eye shop to look at and PREFERABLY be in....it is like a "black (but green in color) hole" that has a vacuum sucking one in there...just a very inviting, zero stress & the easiest looking to work in shop...
AND yes u should & can interject your shop as it is a realistic shop that the average guy can do for as little or as much as they want to spend to achieve the same or tweek a bit to their preferences...thx for sharing your masterful creation... :-)

Plastic/Rubber tiles

My images are on the other page. I would just 2nd what everyone else has said about the tiles. I wouldn't use them again. I thought I could get away with them in the storage area but even there it's not a great idea. My Rustoleum garage paint is holding up much better.

My garage is kind of in a disaster state right now. The third bay is getting modded for a lift. Whoot!

OK, glad you posted. I have been thinking about an ISO container-based garage for awhile now. Is that a standard height container or a "high cube".

Anyone got pics and details on garage like that? Unfortunately a 30' container would be ideal for me, but that length is not popular in the US. Mostly 20' and 40' units in the states. Pretty sure I could make a kick-ass garage with a bedroom apartment above it with 6 30' High Cube containers stacked 3 on 3.

That does not look like a container. Having had a container (40 HC) I can tell you that for storage they are fine but you need more width to work on anything. You can barely walk by a car inside the container. You would not be able to get a jack on the side to jack up the car for example.
