House is nearing completion and the garage is getting its flooring next week.
Going with a polyurea/polyaspartic coating that is superior to the standard epoxy that is used typically.
Better adhesion, doesn't chip or discolor...nearly indestructible.

Plenty of room for up to 5 cars and a mini lift.

Will try some of this recycled barn wood for wrapping the ceiling beams and putting a wainscoting around the walls.

Plus going with some cabinets from New Age.
The Baldhead cabinets were just too spendy.

Should be comfortable place to do some of my car projects.

Nice. Three part coating? Primer, base coat, top coat. This spec is what I used for areas where fuel was present when I was working: https://www.wbdg.org/FFC/DOD/UFGS/UFGS%2009%2067%2023.15.pdf

While the coatings with the flakes look great, when you drop a washer or screw on it, it is very hard to find.

I believe it is 3 layers.

That's why have I have all the kiddo's.
Their eyes are much better than mine for looking for frisky fasteners.
Haha

Whoa...that gov't spec is very complicated.
We've got this.

I have installed 1,000's of sf of these coatings.

Didn't say you had to use the whole thing, but the result is very durable. Again ,the cool looking flake ones make it hard to find dropped things.

In the end, it is the applicator you choose. Most reputable vendor product lines are fine. Their install specs echo the WBDG ones.

From today,

It's tight in here and pretty cozy.

But I enjoy it,

Flooring guys showed yesterday.
Weather is starting to deteriorate here in Idaho....the winter snows are coming next week.
Temperature was not such a big thing.
It was more the moisture content of the underlying concrete....mine was fine.

Team of 3 attacked the garage.

As advertised, they were done in just one day.
Not bad for a nearly 1300 sq ft four car garage (capable of holding 5 cars easily).

I'll get some better pics after it cures a couple more days.
The garage doors were cracked open and the nat gas garage heater was humming away.
I ducked my head in from the house, and there was no strong odor at all less than one day after completing the floors.

They are Swisstrax. I bought them from the Obsessed Garage guy but they are available from multiple sources. I’ve liked them quite a bit.

Korey. Thank you. When I get a moment I’ll try to make another post with a two or three more photos and a few words about the project. I’m seriously thinking of adding an air cooled 911 to my garage. I’ve had two previously, a 1986 Targa and a 993 coupe. Both were a long time ago. If I end up getting one I’m sure I’d become active on this forum. I’ve been a lerker here for while.

Thanks for the nice compliment.

Man that is a beautiful thing you've made there. Art and function all meeting together. Well done!

The height of your garage ceiling?
Any pics of a car underneath?
