I’m so close to ordering one from Al, but I can’t decide if I should get black to match the window trim or aluminum to match the 911SC badge. Does anyone have pictures of the aluminum on GP white? I kinda like the idea of the silver to make it stand out but not sure if it would be too much, or look weird.

Current look. Sorry for the second post the edit function didn’t allow photos. Has anyone put the silver grille in a white car?

Thanks Al. I’m leaning toward the black as it seems more “proper” but will think it over a bit more, as the aluminum look has kind of a hot rod vibe to it.

Your SC badge has faded in the sun. It was originally black like your trim since you are interested in proper. I rattle canned mine semi-gloss black but they were originally anodized.

Are you sure about this? The badge sure looks like it was meant to be silver in appearance.

How would it look; an original grill painted the car's body color?

So it's not that different visually. I guess with other colors, the effect would stand out more.

Nice looking car G-Man. My thoughts are it may make it blend into the body more. Hard to tell with black, but it sure does look good.

I wouldn’t peck Al either no matter how much he would like that. My duck is a Stratton too, “great fit, less filling”.
