Carbon Fiber Fabrication
Does anyone know of a business that can make a set of front fenders from carbon fiber or epoxy/fiberglass using my originals as a mold? My front fenders are unique and very heavy and at this stage in the project it makes sense to get it done now since the body work is complete.

Crawford Composites - Crawford Composites - Welcome
Used to manufacture a chasis for Grand-Am DP, but don't think anyone is running their chasis anymore. But, they do all sorts of CF work. Guy lives across the street from me. I've been to their shop, very impressive. They work on (owner has) Porsche's, so they would be familiar. Todd

I have never met Max but have spoken to him on the phone, and he has a lot of experience with Porsches going back to the 80's at least. That would be a great place to start looking for help. Even if they don't take on that kind of work, they may be able to point you in the right direction.
You might also want to reach out to folks involved in PCA Club Racing in your area/South Jersey. You maybe able to network your way to someone in that area as well.

Part of the challenge will be finding someone that does small, custom projects. Another challenge may be getting the parts to the shop as shipping might be expensive.
Here is another lead: contact Mike Cudahy at Prototype Composites in Glendale, WI (my old neighborhood). Carbon Fiber | Kevlar | Fiberglass | Motosports | Prototype Composites Manufacturer of Carbon Fiber for Automotive Applications Mike is/has been active in racing in that area (SCCA I believe). Not sure if they would take on a project like this, but never hurts to make a connection. Mark and Neil at Getty Design or Mike Shaw out here in CA might take on such a project... you might ping them. There are likely also myriad "one man" operations all over the place... with experience to make a mold out of your parts and render a copy part in FRP or carbon fiber. Again, PCA racers or other types of racers in your area may have contacts. For example, Bodymotion over in Ocean Township may be a good contact...
