Snapping Noise Fixed - Door Stay - The Video
Several door stay threads have complaints about noisy door stay movement. Mine was akin to a gunshot!
The fix shown below as far as I read was first promulgated by SW and confirmed by JW but is sort of lost in time and amoungst other door stay / limiter issues. I used a bolt on mine and shot a YouTube to demonstrate sound, movement, fitment and relief. It is a riviting 30 seconds! I used a 6M 20mm hex cap head bolt and a nylock nut. Enough thread was exposed to allow the use of a 16 mm bolt by my estimation. Did/does anyone have it worse than this (before it is fixed  )?

Where is the video. My drivers door pops when opening so I would like to see your fix.

Yes. Where's the video? My driver side door does the same thing.
