The hideousness is not a matter of opinion SeaDweller. It is f'ugly and hideous with that monstrosity on its lid. God save us all.

The ad states:
"This 1995 Wide Body Carrera is an Awesome head turner and has a gawk factor of 10. Every time I take the car out for a spin it's a topic of conversation! Fingers point, etc." The guy probably doesn't realize people are laughing their ass off at him. It amazes me that someone would screw up any car like this, much less a 911.

I could see having it if you needed the down force on the track. But that thing is HUGE! Not to mention it probably is like towing a anchor around

I have to agree...that thing is an abomination.
Of course some people would say that the tea tray on my 78SC is ugly. So (I guess) it is still a matter of personal taste. It is definitely an "in-your-face" kinda look. I know if I had the balls to do that to my car I would want some pretty hefty HP backing it up. Looks like the only mod in that car is a chip and exhaust. "To each his own" |

Ever notice that cars like that usually sport automatic trannys?

The wing used on theat car was made for a 911, not a 993.
That is why it looks particularly bad. The angle and hieght are all wrong. The same GT2 tail that Widebody911 and I have is more proportional on our older wide cars.
