Wow that looks good!

Good timing, too - I'm been thinking along the same lines (grey/black) because my black/black car is so hot during the summer, and because the all black interior is just so.... boring.

I do have a few questions:
- Did Autobahn also do the door panels?
- What color is your dash & lower dash pad now?
- What color is your headliner?

Thanks for posting the pics

The original interior was all navy blue, Carpets to headliner. Autobahn did the door and interior panels and seats. Their work is impeccable. The dash, knee pad and steering as well as door and rear panel caps are navy blue.

Nice job, amazing transformation. I bet you relly enjoy the color contrast now.
I know I like mine. Especially after I re-covered my own seats with a kit.

I like the red/black. If my interior had been black, I would have gone w/ red or maroon for contrast.

Do you have kids?

I currently have rear seat delete as well as Recaro PP's. I love the seats, and the look, but probably a couple times a month I regret the change. My kids are getting "older" (going on 3 and 6) and I wish we could all pack up and go to Cars & Coffee, etc. but I can obviously only take 1 other person with me (typically it's the oldest now that he's in a booster).

Interior looks great by the way!!!

Todd

toddu,

Isn't the rear seat delete simply a "floating" or easily removable box with contours to allow a flush fit in the back?
If so, if one had removable bottom seat cushions made, it may be possible to add in rear lap belts with snap-hook ends to permit quick and easy reconfiguration for those times you want to tool around with the kids and keep the rear seat delete in for all other times.

I too like the blue/gray two-tone. Which is odd, since one of the POs of my car had mine changed from all brown to brown/ivory. And I find I don't care for it, would much rather have it all brown. I suppose part of that is that the ivory seats have a few stains and such, but even if they were totally clean I think I'd prefer brown. Since the leather is in nice condition (soft and supple), I'll likely have it re-dyed at some point.

Well, I did the full RS carpet install, so there is nothing back there. Plus, the Recaros are fixed/hard backs. I can't even get a 12pack back there. let a lone a kid.

ah, yes, the hard back fixed position seats would put a damper on things for folks in the back seat.....

I just yanked my cobra susuka's out to try to figure out how to re-mount the original seats. Some mods were done to the seating area making it potentially a challenge. I love the cobra susukas for the track but they're not the most convenient for tooling around town. Thus if I can interchange I'll have the best of both worlds.

Best thing I ever did was delete the rear seats , Not that you (me) could sit there anyway
Bad photo (not finished) but you get the idea 4sq meters. Ran out of F2 needed two cans
Did it all in two pieces, and took all but an hour.
