Outstanding!
Feels good, doesn't it? See you at Cars and Coffee (Tigard) tomorrow? The Magic Bus and I will be there.

We meet behind the Starbucks on Sequoia. Take I-5 to Carmen drive, get off and head west. At the traffic light just past the Chevron Station, turn right. You will see the Starbucks on the Right hand side. Go behind the building and see the cars. See you there?

Great looking car and build thread. Don't know how I missed this one, but I read the whole thread this morning. Congrats!

Going to the Historic races next weekend? I'd love to have the chance to see her in person.

Logged about 150 miles on her yesterday. Man she sounds great and isn't as loud inside the car (road noise wise) as I thought it would be.
This car is like a go-kart! Flat in the corners and fun, fun, fun! Every time I was asked what I did to her I had to talk about taking weight off. I was never quite sure how much I actually took off but a stock 85 Carrera is what, 2850? We drove past a transfer site yesterday and put her on the scale...2350 with 3/4 tank of fuel and a large bag of tools. Pretty pleased with that. Best part is my wife doesn't call her the piece of $&@! anymore, lol. I've still got a few things to do like finish installing the front carpet and I must have something messed up on the light switch or wiring as the front signals are not functioning. I'll try and figure that out today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Arne, I hadn't planned on going. Are you there all weekend or just a day? Maybe a few of us locals could get together somewhere Saturday evening.

Where and when? Historics are all weekend, btw. The Gregories always have a campsite down in turn 7 where you can hang out.

I'm probably only going to be at the races on Saturday, and not sure how long we'll stay before driving back home to Eugene in the evening. Will need to consult with my partner.
Will be snooping around for potential projects while I'm up North. Trying to find something else to tinker with, don't really want to tear part the '84, I drive it way too often.

What a story. The relationship you have with that pretty little hot rod is what Porsches are all about. Congrats! Love to see a video of her running in the twisties...
