Nice, did the M&k cat bypass add significant amount of sound compared to stock cat? I am thinking about getting the m&k cat bypass.

Wevo Shift Coupler
New Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires
MOMO Prototipo steering wheel
M&K Cat Bypass/Sport Muffler, new o2 sensor

Next Week's projects:

Send DME off to have SW install his chip ('84 DME needs soldering and I'd rather not do that myself)

Get new driver's side rocker painted and installed (jack creases)

Adjust trunk latch (hard to close)

Next on the list:

Get with upholstery guy and decide what to do about driver's seat cushion and cracked piping. The leather is great and I don't want to lose the patina, but if he thinks new leather would be best, then that will be the plan.

Install Focal door speakers and Infinity's on rear shelf. See if replacing head unit with the Continental I've got is something I'm comfortable tackling myself.

Install fire extinguisher.

Diagnose leaking windshield washer fluid.

Stuff I've done so far:

Installed headlight relay kit and hotter bulbs in the H1's, new mounting screws.

Repaired cracked door pockets.

Had nose resprayed, front latch panel repaired, touched up all chips, buffed and detailed exterior.

Replaced front smile and engine deck seal.

Replaced rear license plate bracket & frame.

Replaced plastic seatbelt anchor trim.

Put in new Coco mats.

Installed new Momo Start bucket seats with Planted side mounts and base.
It was a VERY tight fit in the cabin. Took me some time to get them positioned just right. Glad it all worked out at the end.
Oh and installed fire extinguisher under passenger seat.

I installed the ARP studs, 10 years after I got them... They were almost half price what they are now, $860.

The system isn't actually as loud as I was expecting it to be, but it's noticeably more aggressive than stock. It has more of a hard metallic rasp, and there's lots of burbling, exactly the sound I was looking for. I didn't weigh the stock cat/muffler, but this has to be 1/3rd the weight, and the rear bumper/valance,and engine cover run much, much cooler than the stock system. The shop that installed it doesn't really work on air-cooled cars, mostly newer GT3's/RS's, etc, but they did me a favor. The said the system installed perfectly and were extremely impressed with the quality of the M&K.

Replaced an oil fitting that was leaking like crazy after my rebuild last year (and didn't replace at the time, sigh).

Finally finished my CCM headlight projectors and got them on the car.

Went for a nice long drive...weird winter this year in Spokane, but I'll take it!

Giving it a similar treatment that I gave my M3. This car is a little more difficult to work on though. The M3 was a piece of cake.

What did you do to your 911 today?

Bent up a sweet custom front condenser block off plate and added some trick amber tint film to my lower driving lights to get a test look before buying new lenses.

Weather hits 50+ today and took the opportunity to take the '72 off the jack stands for the first time in 3 months. I've put 70 hours into morphing the 930 front end to reflect the car's long hood origin. Raw metal work is primered only.

That's a '37 Fiat. Not mine, storing it for my neighbor (not his either) who's rebuilding the head. His garage is 6 feet from mine, he's just borrowing a little space.

Removed the engine sound/heat pad. Looks much cleaner without.

Changed stock throttle pedal to 917 style all metal pedal. Completely changed the feel of the throttle. Very linear movement and feels very precise compared to the piece of rubber before that came from the factory. Not sure if the stock rubber pedal is supposed to have play in it but mine was attached firmly to the floor but still had lateral wiggle room which I hated. I imagine the part being 45 years old had something to do with the rubber feeling a little flimsy. Anyway I highly recommend this upgrade. I love this 917 pedal.

Can buy this part at Rebel Racing:

I am nearly in the same boat on both sides down there! Can certainly see the car had a front impact at some point.
