That sound awesome! Did you plan it yourself or is there a package? Do you sail with the car too?

Changed the oil and topped off my transmission fluid. My oil of choice, Motul 300V Competition 15W-50 almost doubled in price since my last oil change, about a year ago. It's now about $38 per 2 liter can. Yikes.

Man, I hear ya.... I wanted to do the same thing yesterday, but didn't have the courage. Just touched the road for a second while I was turning it around in the garage.

.... Put in a set of Clewett plug wires, cap and rotor today. It was nice to hear it run.

Pulled the car out into the sun

With nearly half the snow gone, and it being a nice weekend, I rolled the car out of the garage to turn it around and shove it back in the other way in preparation to put the motor back in. It was good opportunity to stand back and see how the refinished wheels look.

And... the motor.

I was also able to get the intake installed today.

Might be your socket. I had to replace mine to correct an ongoing electrical problem in the fuel pump circuit.

While the engine is out of our 78 SC getting many on the vast oil leaks addressed, primarily to stop the oil from hemorrhaging. I decided to pick up the transmission from my friends shop so i could clean it up before it goes back in. From the pictures, it is painfully obvious how long the leaks have been there.

We purchased the car at the end of last year and we are now addressing all of the little issues that have needed to get done.

Anyway, here are the before and after pictures of the clean-up.

AFTER:--------------------

Replaced my old front spoiler with the new one. Dang, what an effort. I had to remove the front bumper just to get to 3 nuts???? Anyway, it all went back together and sure looks much better.

"Cooked my rear seat. I was working on installing a dead pedal and unkown to me the shop light I had clipped to the harness bar fell down and landed in the seat.

In the meantime, I left for the hardware store. Somebody at home smelled smoke!"

Ouch! I've found that the fluorescent shop lights are much cooler.

Took the Targa out yesterday since it was like almost 50+ degrees around here in Maryland. It was sunny and dry, so got the cover off and gave it a nice ride. Hopefully the weather holds out so I can start using it more!

Got my used front shock in today and installed it. I had a blown bilstein that was leaking all over the place. Could not afford a new set yet so the used one did great. Also since the shock was out I went ahead and installed the strut tie bar while I had the time

Took my door panels apart and removed the rotten cardboard/wood/whatever the hell that material is and installed new clean cardboard/wood/whatever the hell that material is. I figure if it lasted about 30 years of others owning it and driving it in the rain, it'll last me owning it and rarely to never driving it in the rain.

Test fitted the new duck from Getty, redid the wiring to the lights in boltz to the back plate (what a PITA), redid the 3rd brake light, and replaced all fuses and lightly sanded all the connections.

Installed refaced speedo in 914 done by Seattle Speedomoter for $90.

Was a tilt shift lens used for the picture?
