My handy work - Mike's brilliant photography.

This was months of work.... some weeks working 50 hours.

New Seat Covers

I am amazed by the absolutely beautiful Porsche interiors in this thread! I am a Porsche wannabe and maybe someday.....

Other than repairing my sagging headliner, this has been the best improvement to the interior of my humble 1997 Audi A4 and it's ripped leatherette seat upholstery. They look like new sport seats and are so comfy!

No, they aren't custom (OMG, I am so out of my league here among this fantastic custom work). They are Rixxu Supper Sport Series seat covers in dark gray. I bought them at Carid (can I say that here?). Had such a hard time finding quality seat covers that fit my old Audi with a color/design combo that I liked. They were a bit of a struggle to install, pushing connectors through tight places and stretching to connect hook and loop sections, but so worth it in the end. The fabric is heavy and gives me the impression that it will last a long time.

Hi RWebb! No, the seat covers aren't custom. I am so amazed and humbled by the fabulous custom work featured on this thread.

I was having a difficult time finding seat covers to fit my old Audi, and ones that I liked the color/design.

I replied yesterday but it wasn't posted. Maybe because I mentioned the source of the covers or brand? I can email you the info if you'd like and allow that.

Thanks much - I see your 1st msg with the Rixxu in it.

Interior

Not mine, but a great inner door panel on a frien’s car.

Porsche Crest 1999 Boxster interior

I changed out many of the cheap looking black plastic parts by upgrading over the years to genuine Porsche parts mostly from 996’s in Savannah Beige leather and I added the silver speedo dials from a Boxster S. Parts mostly came from eBay. Painted parts that were black plastic were painted in a Mustang colour called Mineral Grey which is a nice contrast.
