That's not a Porsche.

That center-console subwoofer is interesting. Is it custom? Good use of oft-unused space.

It's a good thing they wrote "Slant Nose" in the carpeting, lest we miss the fact that it is a Slant Nose. That whole deal is a little over the top for my conservative taste.

My interior is inspired by a '73 RSR I once saw... modified dash, sound deadening removed

kdubb, that speaker enclosure looks like a mighty clean install. Was that originally from another Make/Mode car?

I used to sell these in Excellence Magazine years ago however paying for the add every month killed me! I installed it. It's called a pocket panel. It allows me to put an 8" woofer and a tweeter in my car without cutting the original (80's) door panels. I love it for my convertible! Hear every note with the top down.

Yes it is actually 2 pieces. For the front I used mdf and covered with fiberglass and the rear part where the shifter is, I used the original console as the template covered it with plastic then covered it with fiberglass. It is a little rough since it is one of the first times I ever used fiberglass in that way. But I was happy how it turned out. I know I risk upsetting some purist but this car is a Frankenstein from top to bottom, haha, I like it!

You could still do the recaro badge install . As you can see I did it after the fact. The seats center cusion is easy to remove for access. The badges are a poke n bent easy install. And it makes the look that much better.
Took your advice, sourced them (not easy) and installed them today...I like!

Dash insert is African Cherry with a stain and matte sealer. After taking this shot, I replaced the 3-piece lower dash with a one-piece. The car now has a wooden shift knob as well.
Great color combo! Must look terrific in person.

Shouldn't the belt receiver also go through the hole like the belt does though?

Ideally, yes, but I used the cable-stalk receivers from a '74+ car and they were not long enough go through... and any way, I'm fat enough that the inner bolster wasn't stressed.
