Difference between sport and regular seats?

I have an 89 Carrera with power seats. I need to replace the seat foam on the drivers side (bottom cushion only) because it's completely sacked and, therefore, pretty uncomfortable to sit in. How do I know the seats are 'sport seats' or 'regular' seats? It apparently makes a difference when trying to obtain new foam.

The bottom cushion should be the same in sport seats as it would be in the regular seats. I have the sport seats and the only thing that is different is that the sides that grab your ribs are deeper. Hope that helps. Try to find pics online and you'll see what I'm talking about.

There are side bolsters on the bottom also. Different than regular seats.

There is not as much difference between the two in the 89 on the leg bolsters. Also the bottom pic is from an 89 Speedster so maybe the seats are different from regular ol' run-of-the-mill 89's. :-)

Where are you going to source your bottom foam material? I'm in the same boat, and would like to get good quality foam to replace bottom with. Thanks,
