Congrats on an amazing find! It's always a pleasure to see them put back on the road. Enjoy!!!

JJ 911SC - the watermark is usually applied by a photographer so the photographs can't be used with out their permission/compensation.

Thanks, first time I've seen that one.

1966 911 Barn Find Story w/PICS

Wow, your "before" pictures look just like my first Porsche, a '69 912. (Mine had rotting apricots instead of shreds of paper)

Sadly, I never got that one to the "After" stage before I got my '78 SC but I hope the guy I sold it to did.

New oil, new battery, drained the tank, new carbs, etc?
Pulled the carbs, completed a full rebuild. Drained the fuel tank, had it chemically flushed/treated. Had both fuel pumps rebuilt (thanks to Ed @ Vintage Werks Homepage), replaced just about every fuel line from the tank to the carbs, new battery, fresh oil/filter, fresh gear lube, removed aftermarket ignition, fresh plugs... I think that's it! Nothing major.

For anybody, what is the © CCC watermark on all the photos?
With all of the scam artists out there these days I try to keep photos like these watermarked so they don't end up being used to rip someone off.

Great story & Beautiful car... simple, clean, elegant, original. Other than the tires, I wouldn't touch a thing.

Congrats!

Thanks for all of the kind words. Someone sent me a PM requesting photos of the engine bay decals - here they are.

Great story, great find. I (actually my little business) have recently acquired a rust free (and I mean rust free - it's already been soda blasted) and accident free 67 chassis and outer panels - all in equally perfect condition. I thought we had a great find - yours is nothing short of unbelievable.

Match the 65-73 Decal placement except for the dyno tape Spark Plug gap one

The one below shows an Alternator sticker in the most left placement but not sure when it actually started year wise. If you are OCD like some of us, you'll put one in the empty square

P.S. Good idea about the watermark in the photos. Unfortunately there is scammer roaming the forum all the time.

The alternator/regulator sticker didn't appear until '68 when the Motorola alternator was introduced.
