Ok, here is the latest instalment. I think I have now tidied up the mess of the RHD conversion to my car, and in the process also manufactured a place to put a brake booster if I choose to add one in the future. It is much easier to do now, rather than after it is painted.
I have also gone through and fixed up the difficult rust areas in the corners of the front windscreen. Only time will tell how good the seal is when I first get to drive it in the rain ![]() https://youtu.be/8JEYS3eKI4A

Enjoy seeing your vids and progress, Jeff. Thanks for posting.
What kind of welder are you using? I saw another post where a guy redoing a swb 912 left a nice note on the dash (hidden by the dash pad eventually) in paint pen describing his work...etc... Your car definitely needs a signature somewhere on it for a future restorer 20+ years down the road

I am using a small mig with 0.8mm wire, with a CO2 Argon mix. Just playing around with the settings to try and get a half decent weld. I am far from an expert.
I saw that build with the note on the dash. I don't think mine is quite to the same level as that. I also don't want to be blamed for half of the other bodgy conversion stuff that has been done. It could be worth leaving a note about the videos so at least the next owner can see the bits I did
