My apologies if I missed this earlier in the thread, but do you know what the heck happened to the firewall behind the rear seats?

No, but I suspect some PO jackwagon in the 80's decided to bash it around to make room for some "totally rad" 3-way speakers with jumbo magnets. Likely the same time when he had the in-car phone installed and a curly pigtail phone antenna bolted to the roof. ; ) . It will be covered by a nice Singer-esque sound pad on the engine side and parcel shelf inside. ; )

My car has the same dents but it's from banging my head when I add up the invoices for the car and realize I'm not even half way finished...LOL

I've often thought we should have a thread titled "Show the atrocities performed upon your car by stereo installers".

One of mine had a perforation in the front bulkhead/trunk floor that I swear was made with an axe.

Sounds like you have a plan to cover it!! Once again, great build, enjoying it very much.

So everything but the detachable panels are in final primer. Additionally, we have the bottom shutzed and painted in Mexico Blue, but no clear yet. Weather looks to be awesome and warm this week, so topside paint is a real possibility this week. : )

I love the no sunroof look. Can believe how straight this car finally looks. : )

All the body panels are almost already for paint. Will likely shoot these and the rest of the car tomorrow.

Looking Great Trent! Come a long way from the last state I saw it in. Fitment of the front end looks fantastic.

That looks great!! Do you mind me asking if you have a taillight housing gasket on there? I've been having issues getting a nice flush fit with any of the gaskets I've been able to find.

Had a chance to compound and polish the left quarter today. Came out very nice. Notice how much sharper/cleaner the reflections are now versus the first set of "just painted" pics. The car looks wet. I am digging it.
