Sunroof part replacement?
Folks-
I posted a slightly different version of this question before, but as i am restoring my 78 911 i am running into an issue with a worn part. I have called Pelican and they say it is not made anymore, so Im at a bit of a loss. None at DC automotive seems to know anything either. here are two pics: The plastic piece that is worn is mine and the other is a stock photo i took form this forum.   As you can see they appear to be different parts and What i need is the plastic bit or confirmation that porsche stopped making plastic version and that the metal one will work. also if there is a name for the part id appreciate it. I struggling with finding it on the parts diagram. Thanks

Actually, It appears that it is an updated piece. Is anyone familiar with the process nessecary to update to the newer style?

I put all my sunroof parts in a box when I deleted it on my 1978, I will have a look tonight and see if I have it still. If I do you can have mine.
