I'm taking a bit of a custom approach. I wanted original looking but it also needs to have a few creature comfort's that my wife will enjoy so that we can enjoy the car together. It's not going to be tracked so 50 pounds won't kill me. To that end I am redoing the interior with plusher materials and some sound deadening. Also put seat heaters in so my sweetie's backside is warm when the top is off on cooler evenings A good quality stereo will happen soon and of course every wear part has to be replaced so the car is as tight and rattle free as the day it came off the factory floor.

Everybody has their own idea of how to enjoy a classic. Of course forums like this are often populated with the purests who are definitely leaning a bit more towards the far end of the performance spectrum. Nothing wrong with that but that's not what I'm after at this point.
