Date code?

Today I was cleaning a couple of rear bumpers and under all of the oil, dirt and old paint I found some numbers printed on the steel inside the bumper. It is interesting that after almost 50 years and after my paint stripper and pressure washer I could still read it. Looks like a date code and part number with some other faint numbers that I didn't notice until I looked at the picture. Check out that bright yellow paint.
