Love these pics, sorry I missed this dive! Jed has planned some awesome drives for our local group....including the camping pics I posted.

Jed - time for another camping trip??

Drive them like the Dr. Porsche intended!

One more from Pace Bend Park in 2015....it poured!

Arrived late after the rangers went home. They made their rounds in the morning and asked if my car was a Ferrari.

Camping at Laguna Seca overflow, at the Monterrey Historics. Up top of the hill, a 3 minute walk to the corkscrew.

I did this trip last year.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/967923-epic-road-trip.html

I'm going back again this Sept for the Rennsport Reunion, so that's another 6466 mile trip, yes!

My first camping trip in the 911 to Rennsport IV. You can fit an amazing amount of camping gear in a 911

You guys are a lot braver than me. In order to get to my campsites I need to travel over hill and dale. Lots of rocks and unpaved roads. Not to mention Joshua Tree gets in the +100 degree F range.

Well some thoughtful planning is involved. Do Joshua Tree or Death Valley Dec-Mar for nice weather. Big Sur, Onion Valley, or Tuolumne Meadows in summer. Spring and fall hit the beach for good weather and fewer crowds.

I take my Cayenne everywhere and mostly remote areas, lots of fun and I get a lot of stares when I do come across someone.
