Rasant made us up a custom harness.
We removed the DME from under the seat and its harness back to the engine, leaving the forward section of the DME harness under the seat. Rasants grey wire for tach is connected to the black/violet of the old dme harness . Rasants black wire for the fuel pump is connected to the red/green of the old dme relay harness which according to the 87 schematic should go to the fuel pump red (this might be an issue for feed back, gotta test that when key is turned off). Rasants red wire for 'ign key on' I simply found a hot wire with ign key on (gotta test that on as well). With your laptop and infinity Tuner find the pump circuit >Ouputs < you can see what lowside output its assigned to , my is C1-41. When I turn on the ignition key and you hear the pump prime you can see the circuit status is on. When I turn off the ignition key and I hear the pump is still running for that 3 seconds or so the status for C1-41 still shows on for that 3 seconds. When I get a chance to track it down I'll let you know what caused it in my set up.

My pump is driven by the ECU through the motronic DME relay harness red/green wire that was under the driver's seat (where I took out the motronic dme-ecu).
On the pump running for a few seconds after the key (and ecu shut down) is off. My set up had been doing that for some time lately. I was advised to do the the following and it seems to have stopped the pump from running 5 seconds after the key is off, however now when the key is turned on the pump does not prime until the engine starts to crank. Infinity Tuner Software: Wizards> Setup Wizard> Outputs > Click on your Channel or Pin for Fuel Pump> Set Condition to "At Least" 200 for Engine Speed Rpm AEM feels its a wiring issue in the pump relay (not the vehicle factory pump relay) that might be causing the after run. We'll explore that.

So you have a separate fuel pump relay that came with the Rasant Harness, correct? Then there is a rather large gauge wire that needs to be connected to the fuel pump +12v feed? If this is correct, then connecting that to the red/green wire should be correct, as that goes through Fuse 3 (25A) and direct to the fuel pump. This is direct from the wiring diagram of the Bentley Manual for the motronic Carrera's:

Yes.
Andrew built quite a complicated harness for our motor, he did have a challenge: 3.5 L&N jugs, 9.5:1 pistons, twin plugged with 8-9 psi of boost on top. It pretty much has every AEM add on including 6 wide band sensors. He provided the large awg to go to the fuel pump, that we simply "crimped" in under the seat to the red/green dme relay wire which goes to the pump (larger bosh motorsports).

Mike and Kuehl, can you please PM your serial numbers from your Infinity ECUs?

I originally had that run on conditions with mine. I remember it happening when i was in the process of setting up the calibration originally but I haven't experienced it since and I drove the car almost every other day.
Was a root cause to that discovered?

Yes, the root cause has been determined and being worked on.

Jayson..... BIG THANK YOU.
Beta version of firmware stopped the fuel pump run after key off. Took the Kuehl Machine for a spin up Warwick to check out the $6.99 lb lobster sale in Choprite, and no problems whatsoever. I appreciate all your efforts and resolving problem, quickly and concisely. Best Regards, Griff Stuck in NJ.
