I think it would help to see photos of the plenum below the carb... There are many possibilities based on intended use of the fabricator. Just to test an unknown engine would justify what I call "high school welding project" quality work!
If intending to try a modern injection system, that would prove unacceptable! Look up member "Old HS2" to see a well made 2 barrel carb Holley 2300 set up. The 2 barrel Holley Sniper looks the right choice for a stock 3.0, but unfortunately, no CARB EO for any of the Holley systems. Nope, People's Republic of Kalifornia still insists on old obsolete garbage to be legal!
