So folks know; A factory blank replacement case does not ever have a type code stamped in it. This means that serial number missing was removed or altered which is against the law. So a builder of this engine or owner of this case, may get it taken away by The Law.

This is what I pointed out, a blank G case doesn't have a type code... Where is the CHP tag (you may want to show this image and that is in intact) as one will need that to be present and legit to use this case safely? Sometime if the original number can be determined, they place that on the tag, if not they make something up. We have had both situations... Good luck Kevin GAS Motorsport

you can see the blue tag on the case above cyl 1-2.That is applied by CHP, Sheriff, or DMV depending on the state you live in.
Weird location, but appears legit since it has the indentations from stamping on each end GLWTS
