FS '77 911S 2.7L longblock
This is an engine that was just taken out from my project car. It is a 2.7 with the 7r case. The engine was running but I suspect it needs a head job and was smoking. I don't know much about the engine history but by the looks of how clean it and the tin, bay, etc are, I suspect it was rebuilt in the recent past. The car came out of Washington and was serviced by Chris's German Auto Service. The PO had Chris's do a leak down and compression and you can see the results of what I suspect.
I pulled the valve covers and checked the torque on the head bolts and all seem solid, none appear broken or pulled. It has turbo valve covers and the oil cooler, clutch, pp, flywheel, $1,900 plus shipping....reduced to $1,250. I will locate a pallet and strap it on and cover with plastic wrap for shipping.

Some additional information:
The engine # is 6274590 and the case number is 901.101.102.7R. This is a 1977 911s engine and was running CIS and SSI's, and thus no thermal reactors when I bought it.

Hard to tell if it has time certs without pulling a cylinder off the block a little to grab a visual. I would like to think that it does for the simple fact that it has been rebuilt at some point in its recent life and all of the head studs torque down fine. If there is a simple way to check, I will be glad to do it.
I suspect shipping to you would be in the $200 to $250 range. I will PM you a cost as soon as I can determine a weight. Anyone know an approximate weight of a 2.7L longblock?

The head studs all torque down, nothing feels like a pulled stud. As far as case savers, I have no way to tell unless you have a suggestion. Thanks
