930 calipers and related parts are still available from Porsche. Calipers can be had for ~$550 each new.

good luck to those going to "hold your breath" = wait for these calipers to become available based on someone sticking their nose in this FOR SALE AD who has not expressed any interest in buying these & is wrong with his statements & is misinforming anyone interested in these parts...
If interested in buying these, look for yourself & believe what you want to believe... Good luck... Bob

I am not the one that said the 930 calipers are NLA. That is just plain wrong. Again, the calipers may not be in stock in the US or Germany, but the calipers have not been discontinued. It's called "truth in advertizing". Scott |

in dealer vocabulary, the word used to describe a part as discontinued is "T-4"...my dealer contact says that he believes this is a discontinued part...many porsche parts that are if fact discontinued but do not have the t-4 designation yet...just passing along what I was told...
If any one wants, and I am not stopping them, go ahead and order these from our host or a dealer...don't hold your breath other wise it may be your last = you may never get the parts... no one can predict the future...especially if & ever when oe car parts will be made again... When I bought these calipers a few yrs back, these calipers were ones of the remaining few = 2 or 3 pcs left in the USA or Germany... If anyone had any THOUGHT about buying these NOW or waiting till closer to when needed, they would check stk & availability here on pelican a/o call their friendly dealer to check stk...I am just reporting what I was told by the dealer...THIS AD IS 100% TRUTH IN ADVERTISING... Potential buyers check it out for yourselves...!! Just informing any "REAL" interested people what I was told about these yesterday before I listed these for sale to FULLY inform any "REAL" interested potential buyers... Get em' now or roll the dice as to if these will ever be made again...up to the buyer & you have not even expressed any interest in buying these so why don't you.... ... keep on replying if you want as you keep bumping the ad up... :-) Thx, Bob

Bob,
I'll get you another bump..... My only gripe was the NLA designation. It seemed sensationalistic. I bought four 930 calipers new from the Factory last year. When I ordered them, they were not in stock here in the US. They had some in Germany. Since I bought mine, I know of at least one other person that bought some new 930 calipers. If Sunset Porsche tells me they can get more, I am confident that they can. I made no comments about the value of the package you are selling. That's for the potential buyers to figure out. I don't know if it is a steal or a ripoff. Scott |

smokin deal. The combination of all the parts is well worth the asking price.

pm came in on these parts...here is the info off of the top of my head...been a while since I was well advised here on pelican by Bill Verberg & others...
1. these 930 front calipers need a strut w/ 3.5" bolt spacing to allow them to bolt on strut... 2. these 930 rear calipers are for a shock/strut w/ 3.0" attachment bolt spacing & these have the req'd spacers... 3. the Black discs are used to attach the front floating type rotors to the car... Everything here to do the job, HOWEVER, I can hear from some "smarty pants" out in cyber land, you can also add a 23mm master cylinder to this set up...avail from Sma&t Racin&...some say not needed...some say it is...I had one & cannot fond it now...I think I already sold it, installed it on a car or can't find it now... I also believe that 16" diameter wheels will be needed to clear the brakes, HOWEVER, the guys at Emery back when I reasherched putting this set up together claimed they had a car running 15" wheels w/ req'd backspace and they cleared... Caveout emptor (sp)...do your homework to see what is involved with this set up...HOWEVER, I will say this, I was going to use this set up on a 73 tub w/ stk fenders w/ custom steelies I made which were 15x7 & 15x8 (7 had 5" backspace & 8 had 6") and they fit...!! Enjoy...these will make someone very happy and a w a y COOL factor on their car...!! :-) (& obvious significant improvement in breaking too...) Thx, Bob
