FS: Complete Getty Design 993 Widebody Carbon Fiber Body Kit (for 69-89 911)
BEST OFFER..need a quick sale or the wife will have me sleeping in the shop
These parts are what started the "993 Conversion Thread" in the tech forum! But... Since I've not had much time to finish this project, the body parts, including carbon fiber doors are now for sale! I have over $10,000 into the parts. They include what you see here with doors suitable for mounting glass frames and have pockets inside. I will post pictures later. I will post pictures of the parts as they are today to show the minimal mounting holes from my preliminary mounting. Anyone interested, make me an offer on the whole package. Getty makes the best composite parts IMO. They also make parts for a lot of shops that sell parts...so you will be lucky to find nicer composite parts. Buy this kit at a considerable savings! I can deliver in my enclosed trailer within a few hours drive if you pay for fuel. I'm in the Chicagoland area. I need this sold soon....have the "other" 993 race car project coming home soon ![]() Last edited by MotoSook; 05-29-2012 at 10:35 AM.. |

Yes, that is a 993 ducktail in the pictures.
If you're wondering what you'd have to spend on a full kit with mounting standoffs etc (including CF doors) you can download the Getty catalog and start adding up the cost.... I know i'm not going to get full price, nor anything close to it, so try me but don't be silly! You'll get a great deal if you it's a reasonable offer. Depending on the condition of the parts on my "yet to be home" new car, I made throw in the rear lights and center reflectors. Make me an offer! It'll take me 1/2 a day to properly package these, so I figure 1/2 a day's drive or maybe further is worth delivering to you if you cover fuel. |

Can't believe you haven't sold this yet. Hopefully someone buys it so you don't have to sleep in the shop. Though your "shop" is bigger than half my neighborhood

Price? How about $7,000 OBO? That's about a $3,000 savings to start. I didn't realize the forum had such rules
![]() Someone sent me a message asking about just the doors. I'm sorry, I would like to sell this as a package. I just don't have a whole lot of time to sell pieces at a time. I am very serious about delivering these folks. I am very fearful of the time and cost of to box and ship these. |
