In backwards ?
The timing marks on my crank pully have been driving me crazy. I think I finally know why.
The noches on the pully are on the grove closest to the back of the car. I think this pully was put in backwards - and the noches should be on the part of the pully that is closest to the engine. SO- my question oh great gruru;s is = IS this possible? Can the crank pully be put on " flipped" around? And, looking at your 912 - is that how yours is ? ( the pully's noches are closest to the engine Vs being on the grove, that is colsest to the back of the car. --------- I hope this question made some sence.. ![]() Thanks.. |

Thomas,
I'll be watching this posting because the notch on my pully is the same as yours, facing the rear of the car, not the engine mark. I've never had a problem with the timing but I haven't owned the car that long either. Craig |
