Thanks for your observation, Otto. Ouch! sounds like a $$ problem. It wont stay in 1st at all. Is ther any clutch/shiftlinkage adjustment that could help?

nope, but the good news is that it can be fixed in the car without having to remove the transmission. Dog teeth, syncro, selector sleeve and rear cover gasket and two muffler gaskets will do the trick. PP has all of these.

I didn't say they won't burn just not like a bug with the magnesium case. Heck, aluminum burns pretty good, start a fire and toss in a few empty beer cans.
I do rev my 2.1L but around town I don't always keep it at red line. The dyno chart shows where the torque and hp are on a 2.1L w/Djet. Geoff

Thats a great looking torque curve...lots of low to mid grunt. Shift at 5300 when driving hard? Easy freeway driving (2700) w/ not much incentive to downshift?

That's why shifting at 6000 is a waste of time, you are way out of the torque curve.
