rear trunk shock kit?

Was wondering if Pelican still makes the rear trunk lid shock kit to replace the spring arrangement? I ordered a set a couple months ago and the order form said it was backordered. Didn't get a response when I sent an email asking about it. Would love to get rid of those pesky rollers and springs...

CAMP 914 can supply you with the same rear trunk shox kit that PP now has NLA. $55.00 includes S&H to your door. And as always money back if not satisfied.

Warning about Kenchipper on Ebay. I used the "buy it now" option on Ebay on the 17th of June and today is the 25th. I have recieved no word from him. I sent him an email two days ago requestion confirmation that he recieved my payment and shipping status and I have heard nothing. I will give him untill tomorrow to respond. If I do not hear from him I will file fraud charges with Ebay.

Kenchipper was a little slow with the delivery of mine, but it did show and was as advertised. I had to email him a couple of times. He said he had a couple of parts that had backordered from his supplier.

Shocks delivered on 25th

The shock kit Jay ordered arrived on the 25th, the day he posted the email.

I usually get out a confirmation when the order was sent and typically get the kits out within 3-4 working days unless a component is backordered. In Jay's case I did not send the confirmation so he was not aware that the kit was sent.

I am sorry for not making it known to the group that I recieved the kit and all was good. Ken apologised to me for the slow shipment and lack of emails. I harbor no hard feelings and will do business with him again in the future.

At the time I had posted the original post I was just getting a little worried.

While I am here, Ken's kit is the shiznit! Installation was a breeze and they work perfectly. I was worried about the load on the frame where it was not designed to take it, but Ken sized the air springs perfectly to be as light as possible, yet still lift the deck.

Just a happy customer.
Jay
