I come to you again with ears open

I'm still chasing a ghost through my wiring.
does anyone know how to put the wires back on the windshield wiper switch.
or the hazard switch I can't figure if I have it right or not I hate wiring diagrams

wires hanging everywhere Man

The windshield wiper connection should be a multi pin flat connector that just plugs into the back of the switch. The emergency flasher should have very small numbers on the switch at each connector. You then have to take the wire diagram for that year and match the color of the wire to the connector. If you can't do that, an even easier trick is to find a friend's 914 and pull the emergengy flasher switch out of the dash and take several digital picts and use it as a guide. Good luck.

Thanks for the idea! I guess I get confussed on the wiring diagrams because they don't have the flat pin in the same place as my switch.
It is the right switch it's just the guy looking at the diagram that can't figure it out.

Froggy,
I suggest you contact the local PCA club and ask them if they can recommend members who have 914s that might be willing to work with you to fix the problems with your car. These guys like to help out fellow 914 owners. They might bug you to join the PCA, but what's not to like about that?
Good luck,
Phil
