Question Duh - what order rear caliper/shield?

OK, so I'm a dope - I tried putting everything back together, and I can't figger out if the dust shield goes BETWEEN the caliper and the trailing arm or just over the caliper
I tried both ways - if the shield is between the caliper and arm, then there's too much offset on the rotor, and the caliper binds, and if the shield is on top of the caliper, it looks really crooked and wrong.
OH WAIT!!! Is it ony binding because I haven't connected the axles yet, and the hubs aren't pulled all the way in? Maybe? Or did my calipers shrink a little because it's so cold out? Did my brain shrink a little because I was sick while I was doing this in the first place? Should I wait till I feel better to make sure I don't forget to, saay, tighten the hub nut or leave off altogether?

Anyone wanna go for a ride in it when I'm done?

Ok, I'll stop now.....

Jeff, If I'm understanding your fevorous plea, then your dust shield bracket goes between the trailing arm and the caliper (at least, that's how mine is). If it's binding, then I'd check your idea about making sure the hubs are pulled all the way in. Course, you could just lose the shields all together -- it's always fun when you have leftover parts

Good luck, and wait till you feel better to get back out there. Brakes and wheels, etc. are kind of important to get right, if you know what I mean
