Any 914/6 Conversion in works?
Just curious if anyone is working on or thinking about completing a 914/6 conversion? If so, let me know. I am about to pull all the conversion parts including the engine and original oil tank out of my 914/6 conversion chassis to convert the engine to a different powerplant. Heck, I even have a 914/6 intermediate plate for the transmission with the bell linkage and throttle cable. They only parts that I don't have are an engine mount (well, I have one side of a Rich Johnson mount, the other is welded to the car) and engine tin.

Well, the oil tank won't be sold seperately until the engine has a buyer. Need a stout 2.7L engine with that oil tank?

Yes, the engine and all the conversion parts are for sale and listed here.
The condition of the engine and parts is excellent. See the link for more details and feel free to contact me if you have additional questions. -Britain 503-330-4908

I'm starting a 914-6 3.0 CIS conversion. I need a 3.0 to 901 flywheel, ringear, and clutch. I also need a CIS fuel pump. I'm sure I need tons more stuff, but that's all I can think of right now.

I'm planning on building a 914-6 AX car, not going to be a street car. Unless I can get a stock oil tank cheap (yea right) then I will fabricate one. But first I need a rolling chassis. Doesn't need to be pretty, just usable and cheap. I already have a 2.7L with a set of Zenith TIN 40 triples. I will probably need a motor mount and engine tin, and headers. But I'm also not in a hurry.

I have already sold off most of my 914/6 parts, but I do still have the header/muffler available.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-914-used-parts-sale-wanted/573085-fs-914-6-headers-custom-muffler.html This would work perfect for SCCA AX sound limit resistrictions...it is why I built this set-up. -Britain
