914/6 engine bay tin

Is the early 911 engine perimeter tin the same as used on the 914/6,seems that way but need to ask before ordering,thanks

The five 914-6 engine sheet metal pieces are unique to the six. None of the 911 engine sheet metal pieces are the same as the 914-6 pieces, nor are any of the 914-4.

I'd suggest buying a good, steel reproduction set.

Thank you ,which replica set is best ?some look a little rough,cheers.

This set is an excellent quality steel set. It requires screws/nuts to mate each piece and if you have heat, you would open the two side pieces for the air hose.



I suggest powdercoating each piece because of it's durability but you can paint these if you prefer.

The sets retail for $400 > $450. I have a couple sets available if you are interested.
