A/C compressor with no Refrigerant
Is it okay to connect an A/C compressor (belt only.. no power) up and run the car around?
I have not made hoses yet and will cap the connection to the compressor. The belt WILL be installed but no power to the compressor. Sould I also change the refigerant oil in the compressor before it is connected to the engine? Thanks Kerry

compressor
Hi
This is no problem because without power the AC clutch just spins free and doesn't turn the compressor. The compressor will get flushed when you get the new system charged. best Mark |
