Coolant temps

John ('73 914 Renegade V8 conversion),

How high do your water temps get? Just curious because I'm looking at the specs for green stripe hose and it says 0 - 212 deg F. Seems a little low. It's probably over-engineered enough to not be a problem but thought I'd ask.

thx,

Jon

I average 170-180F but have seen short periods of time in the 220 range.........seriously doubt the hose would fail at 220-230 if used there all day long.
