Questions about my engine case 75 914
Hi everyone
Starting my 6th 914 project, a 70 914 with a 75-76 2.0 L. Engine case number is a GC. My question is about a sensor located on the bottom of the engine. I plan to carb the engine so no concerns about the fuel injection. Wondering what it is and do I cut the wire leading to it or do I plug the hole with a bolt. Dave can you please chime in on this one. Thanks in advance Too many Porsches to list |

The sensor on the bottom of the engine is oil temp. Handy to know. If you don't want a gauge, you can just leave it in place. If you do want a gauge, you'll have to run a wire from the box connector on the right side of the motor up to your gauge location.
