WTB - Weber IDF carbs

I need a pair of Weber IDF (either 40 or 44). I am having trouble getting my car to run with the Dells I have. I just need the carbs, no manifolds, air cleaners, linkage, etc. Just complete, solid and bolt-on IDF's.

Thanks.

(PS. Greg D if you still have my old set let me know!)

Sorry Buddy,..

I shipped them off last Thursday... Sold them off on Ebay, couldn't get a buyer here or Rennlist. Still in CA?

Greg,

I'm sorta in between. I actually need the second set of carbs because my Dells are kinda flaky and I can't get the car to consistenctly run well. I'm planning on driving it out to California in a couple weeks (with no heat!) and I wanted a set of IDF's to put in the boot in case I had to swap them out somewhere along the way.

How's the six conversion going?

David

Well , the conversion itself is complete, but when we got the engine started it had a definite noise in it. Took the chain covers off and could see that the intermediate gear was chewed up something awful. So it is in the process of being rebuilt. No other problems with the engine because of the gear though. I'm changing the cams to SC Improved, adding better valve springs and having the heads decked .5mm. That should raise the compression to 9.0:1 since the 2.7 had RS pistons. Should be complete the end of the month or so.
