FS: Uncracked 914 Dash Panel
SOLD.
I have an uncracked, unblemished dash panel for a 914. It came to me with a car I bought as a group of "spare" parts, reputed to be from a part-out. Best I can tell from the gauges that also given to me as spare, the car was a late 1974. Asking price $500, plus any shipping/insurance/handling costs. I have a personal PayPal account, buyer to pay any PayPal fees. Shipping will be a pain, and there's significant risk to damage; I'd REALLY prefer this get picked up locally in Middletown CT versus my having to find a secure box and ship it to you. You walk up with cash in hand and take it away and I'll be a lot more agreeable to discussions on pricing. Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Too much? With old radios going for $500 I thought this was priced right...make an offer. No way this pristine dash panel is going into my regular driver; this belongs in a nice car. - GA

914 owners are CSOB's considering plastic dash overlays run $180 your asking price isn't that bad. Look forward to meeting up

I would buy it on an instance if you were willing to ship to Canada. But you're right, they have to be packaged really well to survive

you asked if the price was too much, so here's my opinion.
928leather in MI re 'skins' these to factory for $650. I have never had one done there, nor have I seen one personally. Mind you, I do plan to have this done to mine. Assuming the job they do is good, i'd value an original in excellent condition at $350 to $400. If it was absolutely perfect, perhaps up to $500. My reasoning is that it's an old dash. Will it crack at some point? Probably. Whereas I wouldn't expect a newly re skinned one to do so. Just my 5 cents obviously. Good luck with the sale. |

Just wanted to post an update, received the dash. It is as nice as represented, it may not be new, but it is s close to looking new as I have seen for an original dash. It was also packaged very well and shipped quickly.
Very happy with the transaction

Thank you, Robert; I'm glad it worked out. Shipping to Canada wasn't nearly the painful experience I recalled it to be... - Greg
