outside mirrors???
Hi all,
I think this is the correct forum for this topic, if not please move to the correct location. What are you doing to replace the glass mirror portion in the outside mirrors? I need some help with mirrors. I have been trying to have a glass shop cut some mirrors for me to replace the old outside mirrors that are getting faded along the edges. I cannot get any of the local shops to cut mirrors for me. Not the regular glass and mirror shops, nor the auto glass shops. They all say the same thing; no we can cut a mirror for a car. You have to order it from the dealer or from an aftermarket supplier. Then they check their list for a 1974 914 and it is not on the list. Any suggestions?  Thanks, Bill. |
