Porsche Crest headlight wont go down. 924s

a few weeks ago I went to put up the headlights went up haft way but stop. they won't go down or anything. I have checked the fues. is there anything else it could be.

There's a relay on the motor (front PS of the engine compartment, all covered in rubber) that may have died.

I believe that there are 2 fuses for this, so make sure you check both.

Inspect the coolant return hose to reservoir and other wires,lines that may be binding up. The motor can be pulled apart and cleaned up and it will work much smoother if you need it to.

Manually raise & lower

In case you didn't know there is a knob on the top of the motor (after you work off the rubber boot) that you can turn to raise or lower the lights as a backup or "emergency" use if you are out and need to get home when the electrics stop working and the lights are down. Try turning this knob to see if there is something binding or catching. Listen for squeaking and feel for smoothness or other issues. The linkages may need some grease. Good luck.
