different 85.5 fronts
My 85.5 944 seem to have a different setup on the fornt bumper, than most. It has the small bumper rubbers with clear light's next to the amber turn lights. Some has told me that it is a 1986 model. As i can't find any build date's any where, does any one know about this. are the small bumper rubber just because it has driving lights in the bumper and below the bumper, fog lights. It's a japan model. This is my frist porsche as they are very hard to come by down here in Tasmania. Any help would be great.
Frank do you know, coupe could you help. Regards Roger |

FRWilk,
Where did you find one. I'm not in the market (I have the original still attached nicely), but I've heard that a plastic or fiberglass Euro bumper can be found. Is that what you've purchased?

It's the Euro Bumper, they beefed up the Bumper for us Fatass Amaercan drivers because we have too many intersections to slam on our brakes and rear=end other drivers. Also, we have many malls here and need bigger bumpers for (blue-hair) protection when parking... the euro bumper is really nice looking. I'd love to upgrade to that bumper, it's sharp... !!
